Substance Use Resources for
Friends & Family

Substance use is not an individual problem, it is a community issue. When we love someone who is struggling with substance use and addiction, it affects our mental health and wellbeing, too. You are not alone! This page is meant to highlight resources created specifically for friends and family.
If you know of a helpful resource, but don’t see it listed below, let us know! Send the information to info@breakwaterwi.org.

The Daybreak Project

One big, friendly kitchen table. A gathering of people whose lives have been affected by someone’s use and misuse of substances. For more information see the Daybreak Project brochure.

SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration)
