Substance Use Resources

When it comes to substance use, and substance use prevention it can be a struggle to find the right resource for you. Breakwater’s goal is to connect you to relevant resources in an easy-to-navigate way. Each category below links to a set of resources specific to that group. Not finding a resource that fits your needs, or know of a resource that we don’t have listed? Let us know by emailing info@breakwaterwi.org.

Shatter Proof created an Addiction Language Guide to call action to stop using stigmatized language. In this guide you will learn about the stigma, understand what stigmatizing language is and how to use person-first language.  Using this guide can create an opportunity to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supported community.

This guide reflects a collaborative effort of Breakwater and many other partners. The purpose of the guide is to deliver information on substance use treatment, explore resources, and provide information regarding the multiple pathways to recovery from substance use that are present throughout the Fox Valley andsurrounding regions.
